This week, unfortunately, I was not inspired by anything.. No style obsessions, no idees fixes. Spring and summer issues of Vivi, that I have in my posession, seem to be built around the same clothes combined differently. Flowers-whites-mickey shirts-denims-leopards. Today I’m writing about the last thing left worth attention – lace. For these pictures I had to go through several issues (normally it’s just one magazine I scan pictures from). Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of lace items in every magazine, but most of them are too sweet and shapeless, and will probably make you a pedophile’s potential target.
Lace looks good combined with denim (for a classy and romantic look), khaki shirts/pants, heavy knitted sweaters and leather. Lace combined with flowers and pastels will make a perfect outfit for a five-year-old girl (or a Vivi model). Some pictures here contradict my idea of style, but you can pick up ideas for yourself and hopefully get somewhat inspired.
